The guide below will tell you how each of our photo sessions work, and give you all the details you need to help you decide between a mini session and a full session.
Mini sessions are kind of my thing! I travel a lot and scheduling minis allows me to do that while providing my clients with the most cost-effective way of getting family photos.
Here's how mini sessions work.
1. Date & Location is Pre-determined
This varies depending on the upcoming holidays and season but the location is pre-set and chosen by me. They happen 8 times a year.

Full sessions are the more flexible option and provide you with more time during your session as well as more images delivered.
Here's how a full session works...
These differ from minis in that you choose the date from calendar and you’re the only session I book that day.
From the initial contact you’ll receive details on booking requirements, pricing, a location guide, and answers to any questions you may have. Once you book, I’ll send you a welcome packet with how to prepare for you session and tips on what to wear.
Full sessions start at $400 and include a minimum of 30 digital images.
Contact me at hello@ajourneys.net to start the process and secure your date. Once you’re ready, I’ll send you a link for the deposit and contract. Or, you can visit our booking site to choose a date and place a deposit.
I believe in full transparency when it comes to your investment and what you will receive. That is why I have made it simple for you below with a break down of each type of session I offer. Mileage fees only incur if the location is more than 30 miles from zip code 78259.
1. Full Sessions
Full sessions start at $400 and include a minimum of 30 digital images. Shoot time includes one location we decide on together and up to one hour of time. You’ll receive a full online gallery where you can download all the images you see. All edited images will be available to you at no extra cost. These can be family, maternity, newborn, or special event sessions.
6. Mini Sessions
Mini sessions start at $200 and depend on the theme. These are pre-scheduled sessions that are held at a location of my choice. They include up to 20-30 minutes of time and are held on specific days throughout the year only. You’ll receive a minimum of 10 digital images and an online gallery to download all edited images. Be sure to sign up to be the first to know when they open!

General turn around time to receive your images is two weeks for full sessions and 5 business days for minis.
